Dr. Richard Kim was born in New York and received his B.S. in biology and psychology at Georgetown University in 1983. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1987. Dr. Kim completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his specialty training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he later served as chief Fellow.
